PURPOSE OF THE WORKSHOP
The purpose of the workshop is to create professionel production conditions within fine art photography and analog photographic processes for professional visual artists and photographers.
FotoGrafisk Værksted aims to strengthen and further develop the visual arts environment in Aarhus, and to serve as an essential part of both the local and national artistic community for professional artists, emerging practitioners, and art students.
VISIONS FOR THE WORKSHOP
- A professional workshop for the exchange of expertise and techniques within an expanded field of photography, with a focus on analog black‑and‑white photography, photogravure, and alternative processes, and experimental photography.
- A gathering place for artistic and photographic development.
- A community for interdisciplinary artistic and photographic collaborations locally, regionally, and with national, Nordic, and international partners.
- A knowledge center for fine art photography, analog photography, and experimental photographic processes.
